lusting after midnight
Summer finally arrived after too many weeks of cold wind and rain but still, all black outfits are my favorites these days. Black is not a sad color, it's modest and arrogant at the same time, it's lazy and easy - but mysterious. Black says this: "I don't bother you - don't bother me.", which kinda has been my attitude for the past few weeks.
Actually, most of the pieces I'm wearing are somehow thrifted and in very good condition. Speaking of vintage pieces, look at this outstanding bag from Spitalfields market (where I spent most of my money at) has this beautiful village embroidery on it.

Festival Looks 2013
This is one of my favorite looks (actually, I love each single one!) Nice and neat, very festival-like and perfect to begin with. Containing everything you need on a festival from food over sunglasses and camera to clothing haha, you can enjoy the music without worrying about anything. I have an addiction for pale blue and black - just love this combination!

Next: combat boots and lace bras! This festival season is going to be amazing, as I actually own pretty much everything that I love so much. I love everything - love love love! Greys are another number 1 in my closet, paired with some bold statements like these beautiful tie-dye shorts, which I love (destroyed, tie-dye, high-waist; much more than one could ever ask for!). Tons of bracelets are a Must. That's all I have to say.

For hot days - which aren't likely here in Germany - a bikini and short shorts variation. Pattern mixing can be difficult unless you know how: Both pieces contain striped patterns and in the bikini top isn't very much color; et voilĂ : cute pattern mixing.
Sorry for the combat boots in this outfit, I can't get enough of them. To add some gypsyness, loads of necklaces with small pendants are an easy way to achieve this (best: use golden ones). And what would be a great festival look without being playful? Right, nothing! Heart-shaped sunglasses do the trick.

Because not everyone is pleased with the best weather in the world (like me in "sunny" Germany), this look keeps you more or less warm. Not to mention, I love it because there are so many black pieces and because there are amazing pink studded boots. I mean, hello?! Pink, studded, boots! Gypsy accessories and a see-through fringed kimono make this look more than festival-ready.
Are you guys going on a festival this year? What are you planning to wear?
I'd love to hear your stories!
